The Center for Emancipatory Technology Studies (CET) is a collective of scholars dedicated to advancing socially equitable and ecologically sustainable technological development. Our research examines the design, deployment, and societal implications of technology, with a critical focus on its transformative potential. Leveraging this expertise, we advocate for technological progress that does not exacerbate societal divisions but instead fosters material inclusion and autonomous self-determination for all. Our mission is to reimagine innovation as a force for collective empowerment rather than exclusion.
